While dizziness is normal throughout pregnancy, severe headache is not. When you experience persistent and very strong headache, call your doctor for proper advise. Don’t wait to have blurred vision and faint on the floor just because you assumed that it’s okay. Note that on the third trimester, persistent headaches could result to preeclampsia.
Nausea is one of the common symptoms of morning sickness but if you vomit more than once a day and worsened by fever, dial your doctor’s clinic.He/she might need to prescribe you medications to alleviate incessant vomiting.
Sudden Swelling of the Face, Feet, or Hands
Hormonal changes in pregnancy cause swelling among pregnant women. However, if you suddenly feel that your face, feet, or hands are suddenly swelling, call your doctor’s office for an immediate appointment. Significant swelling can be a sign of preeclampsia which should not be ignored.
Bleeding and Spotting
Spotting or bleeding is common during the first trimester of pregnancy but when accompanied with cramping, it’s a serious condition that can result in miscarriage. As such call and see your doctor as soon as possible for proper assessment and to ensure your health and your baby’s.
