To my adorable boys,
You know that mom loves you BIG time and I will do anything in my super powers to make you guys happy. I hope you don’t mind if I ask you to do these things (that will surely paint a big smile on my sleep-deprived face and body):
Follow our bedtime rule
We made a pact a few months ago that you’ll both sleep by 8pm. The thing is, you fight or should I say we fight before I can hear your snores and you’re in dreamland a little under 11 pm and you wake up around 5-ish in the morning. Puhlease, let’s sleep early and wake up at least 6 in the morning.
Eat your meals
Are you on a diet that you tag your meals as “gross” and “yucky” and get delighted when offered with a bag of chips and a bowl of chocolate ice cream? Come on, a spoonful or two of the chicken soup and a glass of milk will give me credit for my cooking skills.
Stop eating your school stuff
In a span of three months I already bought 4 boxes of crayons because either you claim that yours is broken or lost but I knew it, you ate them because it’s colorful and crunchy. No! Stay healthy (and thrifty), boys.
Put your blankets in the laundry basket
Let me wash your soiled blankets, once or twice a month. I understand its versatility from a superhero cape to a roof on your playhouse but it’s dirty and dusty. I’m sure you’ll hate allergies.
Kiss and hug mommy
Time flies so fast that you hate the idea of kissing and hugging me in public. I miss our sweet, intimate moments but I know my babies are already big boys. How about a daily dose of hugs and kisses?
